About Us

Our story & vision

We are a vibrant church family that loves Jesus and the city of Birmingham. We have a vision to build a church like the one at Antioch described in the book of Acts (Acts 11-13). This was a diverse and evangelistic church marked by the grace of God, sending people on God’s mission. We want to see people saved, discipled and sent on Jesus’ mission.

King’s Church began in 2015, after a long season of prayer & fasting when a group of around 20 felt called by God to move from Grace Church Nottingham to plant a new church for the city of Birmingham.

We believe God has called us to be a church that is a resource: making disciples and raising up leaders. We are called to impact the city of Birmingham with God’s love but also send more labourers, to plant churches in other cities and even the nations beyond. As part of Grace Connection we partnered in planting our first church; Revelation Church Manchester in 2018 and The River Church Newcastle in 2020.
