The forgiving God

We’re called to walk in holiness, but what happens when we mess up? There is hope found in our faithful and just God who always forgives. We can have confidence to come to God as we are, with our sin, because Jesus Himself came to pay our punishment and is now advocating on our behalf.

Christ Our Advocate
2:1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
