Why the gospel is worth your life
March 17, 2019
Whatever the reason, in these verses which summarise the book of Romans, Paul is eager to tell the church in Rome that he is not ashamed of the gospel. JP looks at why we can live with this same attitude and in fact, why the Gospel is worth giving our whole lives too, namely because it is the Power of God, because it is for everyone and because it reveals the righteousness of God.

The Righteous Shall Live by Faith
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith,1 as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”2
